Start your AI journey HERE!

A lot of people contact me to ask me how they should start their learning journey for AI in Medical Imaging. Here's a short answer.

AI for medical imaging is a subset of machine learning and computer vision.

So if you learn the fundamentals of these 2, then you'll be building a strong foundation for medical imaging.

There are many resources out there for learning the fundamentals of machine learning and computer vision. I will not outline them here.

However, if there is one starting point that I would recommend to anyone coming to the field of machine learning, and especially deep learning then it's the video about neural networks from Andrej Karpathy.

I had this video in my bucket list for a while and was able to find time to watch it yesterday.

I think it's the best resource you can find online to learn how neural networks work.

I am saying this because I have seen a ton of content online about this topic. But very few come close to the explanation mentioned in this video.

Maybe Andrew Ng ML course on Coursera comes as a close second when it comes to explaining how neural networks work.
